Tuesday Commute

I am obviously a little oout of order with my blog posts but I take so many pictures through out the day that I want to share and then I just start doing whatever.  Tuesday was a weird day on the 15 and not sure if it was fire related or what.  There was traffic going to work and then traffic again going back to work after I went home for lunch.  It has never been like that.  I took a few photos.  Wanting to share with anyone who is not in California and thinsk they might have traffic, NOTHING can ever compare to the bullshit we have to deal with.  And this is nothing even close to what Danny has to deal with in his commute.

This picture below, I had to take because this woman was driving like her ass what was fire and her hair was catchin'  She was zigging in and out and being rude and stupid.  Then all of a sudden I saw her on the side of the road.

Lunch is over!!!!

By the looks of one of my tires, I decided that I shoudl not go far for lunch even though I had dreams of spending millions of dollars on new clothes.  I went to the corner to Carls Jr, which I know is not the best but it was that or Taco Bell and even though I could stand to lose a few pounds, I am not in the mood to spend the rest of the afternoon on the toilet.  So Carls it was.  I was sitting the the place practically by myself and along comes Mr. Salesman of the year, equipped with bluetooth even.  He decided to sit one table over, which annoyed me.  He could have sat anywhere.  He handled some business which I get because my work cell phone never left my hand the entire time I left the office, just wish he would have sat somewhere else.  Then, in walks the in-bred redneck family of Temecula.  I was not at all sure what to make of them.  There were three, and they were all large.  Not sure if it was mom and her two sons-brothers or brothers-husbands.  It didn't matter.  They had all (my eyes) on them the minute they walked in the door.  They were loud and obnoxious and if that was the mom, she no control over her sons-brothers.  I felt that it was in my own interest to leave.  I did not do my hair today and so I was not prepared to be on an episode of Cops.

Speaking of cops; i am not sure what is going on Temecula but people are getting pulled over left and right.  There are cop cars and motorcycles all over the place.  It actually stopped me from making an illegal U-turn so that I could get back to the office faster.  Instead, I made the left aqnd went down to the next light where U-turns are permissable.

Interesting lunch hour.  Now back to work and then home to rest befor ethis cold compeletly takes over.

A gift straight from the heart

Something I have cherished from being a parent, is all the fun stuff my kids have made for me over the years.  From Kindergarten and on, I was always getting something from them and it they were always so special and meant so much to me.  I love the cards and letter they would write for birthday and Mother's Day.  While yes from Dad, I wasn diamonds and all things sparkly, home made gifts from the boys are the best.  Even still to this day, it would brighten my day if they woudl write notes and leave them on the frisdge for me to see.  We have a small white board on the fridge, which has been used once or twice to thanks me for buying them Taco Bell and since it is being used as a PSA not to eat my poop!  That's what happens in hosueholds full of men!

Anyway, Dakota has moved home, even though part time right now, and it has been a blessing having him home.  He is always so full of sarcasim and always pulling a prank of some kind. A couple weeks ago, Danny and I went out front and I noticed that Dakota had left me a gift on my car.  I of course had to take a photo so I cuold share with everyone how much he loves me!

A new sales tactic

Not sure how standing all day will increase your productivity but if it you feel that it is working then YOU GO GIRL!  At some point, I will request that you take a seat because you are making me nervous!

Football Fever?

As I was back and forth with getting the boys up for school, I cam back into my room and I saw a piece of paper slightly tucked under the corner of Danny's pillow.  I thought "great, he just wrote me a Dr, John Letter"  It was going to be a long week.  I walked over, opened it up and to my surprise it was football related.  I realize the importance of making these kids the best that they can be, but taking it to bed with you?  It is going to be a long and arduous season!
